Blue Badge, Housing Benefit, Mobility Allowance etc.

P.U.K. can provide free leaflets on all aspects of P.D.

P.U.K. Support & Information Officers can do “Home Visits” (by appointment) and assist in completing application forms

for Welfare Rights, i.e. Attendance Allowance (not means tested),

They also liaise with other useful services – Social Services, Occupational Therapist Physiotherapist, Carers and Speech Therapists etc.

P.D. Nurses (Specialist Parkinson’s Nurses)

Some hospitals that have Parkinson’s Consultants also have P.D. Nurses who do home visits (by appointment).

These Nurses are highly experienced and should be your first contact, if you have any medication problems.
